Holzschuhs, 2018 tree donors

Thank you to Thom & Marian Holzschuh for donating their 75-85 year old blue spruce tree for the tree lighting this year.

The couple had been advised to consider removing the leaning tree. Thanks to Qualitree, the Holzschuh's saved money be donating the tree for the lighting.


This year's tree is the biggest yet at 15,000 pounds and over 50 feet tall. The tree stands 40 feet tall as it security sits in front of the Nampa Train Depot (Canyon County Historical Society Museum) on Front Street and 12th Ave S.

Enjoy free parking in the Downtown Garage all day November 24, located at the corner of 11th Avenue South and 3rd Street South.

It's only a short four minute walk from the library to the festivities outside the Canyon County Historical Society Museum/Nampa Train Depot.
